Ski and gastronomy : a restaurant guide in Tignes

You probably already knew that Tignes is one of the best place where to ski in the Alps, thanks to its 300 km of slopes and its gigantic freeride area. But did you also know that the resort will satisfy all of your cravings with its numerous and diverse restaurants ?

No ? Well, then, let us have a closer look at the best places for food in Tignes…

Cheese lovers, welcome to heaven on Earth !

If it is your first time in Savoie you must try our local and traditional gastronomy (and if it is not, you obsviously know what I mean !). Do not hesitate and treat yourself to a delicious fondue at L’Armoise , a huge raclette at Le Grattalu, a tasty croziflette at La Ferme des trois capucines, or even a savoury oven-roasted reblochon at La Table de Jeanne.

If you need a (well deserved) break on the slopes you will be spoiled for choice. You can stop at Le Panoramic for the highest meal of the domain and a beautiful view of the Grande Motte glacier. If a view is what you want, you can also enjoy a 360-degree panoramic scenery (the Grande Casse, the Grande Sassière, the Aiguille Rouge, the Mont Blanc, etc.) from the terrace of La Tovière. And do not forget to try the best omelette in Tignes at Lo Soli !

For a lunch ski-in ski-out lunch and a direct access to the snow front, Tignes is the best ski resort you can find. You must try Tummy’s delicious pizzas on their cosy and sunny terrace, or a tasty burger at the Aspen Coffee Shop. And if a quick delightful snack is what you need, visit our friends of La Croisse by the lake.

Now you know enough to fill your bellies, but since the reward comes only after the effort, do not forget to hit the slopes and enjoy the snow !
